At North Glass, we provide replacement wing mirror glass for a wide range of cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles. We only supply and fit flat mirror glass, the image will be a true reflection, not magnified or minimised, like a genuine bent glass mirror does, depending on the vehicle's original specification. Please note, we cannot replicate curved mirrors. The customer would have to source a genuine part.

Before creating a wing mirror job, "create a new customer" or confirm the details of an "existing customer":✓ Customer name✓ Property address✓ Email address ✓ Phone number Purpose: The information gathered during the initial phone call is to determine the following:1. To check if the glass is flat or curved.2. Whether it is for the driver's or passenger's side.3. To confirm the vehicle registration.
Using the "Wing Mirror" job template, always work through the following checklist before booking in with a glazier.
1. Confirm which wing mirror needs replacing.Drivers Side / Passengers Side
Why we ask: This helps us to record which side we have glazed for future reference.
2. Obtain the vehicle registration (Rego) number.
Why we ask: The registration allows us to identify the vehicles make and model.
3. Confirm any mirror features (if known). Heated / Blindspot Indicator / Auto Dimming Why we ask: Some vehicles have different mirror glass options depending on their features. We can only replace using flat (float) mirror. These features will be void.
Before ending the call, confirm:✓ Customer name✓ Phone number✓ Email address✓ Photos requested (if needed) Once you have gathered all of the required information, explain the next steps to the customer: Provide the price for the replacement mirror glass. (Note: Pricing differs for cars and trucks.) Advise the customer that no appointment is required. They can simply visit our workshop at their convenience. On arrival, our glazier will create a template from the existing mirror. This takes approximately 5 minutes. The glazier will then cut the new mirror glass (2mm mirror is in stock) and RA polish to match the template - this needs to be scheduled/down time task. Once the glass has been made, we will contact the customer to let them know it is ready for installation. Installation takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

Tip: If an item is not required for the job, remove the line item. Only include the options that apply to the customer's job.
Once the quote has been prepared, review each line item to ensure all calculations are accurate. Approve the quote and email this to the customer using the "Quote Auto" email template. Change the tradify job status to "Quoted". If the customer is a walk in, get their verbal acceptance and accept the quote. Ask a glazier to make the template and book the job in with a glazier to cut glass. Invoice is done on completion.

On completion of the installation, create an invoice for the full amount from the quote. Please check you have coded the line item on the invoice to the right account code (41000 - Auto glass (41000) otherwise this defaults to account code: 42000 - Materials (42000). Note: On most occasions, customers are a walk in and will pay using the eftpos machine. Add the payment on the invoice (eftpos payment) and hit the save and continue button.

Please send an email using the standard "Review Email" or "Review Email - Giveaway" email template during promotional times. Change the job status to "Completed."
